Sgt.. James Roby joined the MSU Police Department in 1997. He graduated from Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy at Pearl, Mississippi. Sergeant Roby served in the U.S. Air Force Active duty from 1986-1990. He also served in the U.S. National Guard from 1990-1996, while serving in the Gulf War. Sergeant Roby worked for the Eupora Police Department for 2 years. In his spare time, he enjoys construction work and basketball.
