Karen French started to work for MSU Police Department June 1st, 2005. She has previously worked for Northwest Community College, Itawamba Community College, Forest City Schools and Baldwin County High School in Alabama. Her first job was at MSU 30 years ago. Mrs. French is married to Jack French, a graduate of MSU who is the head football coach at Pearl High School. They have two children, a daughter, Joni, a graduate of MSU, who is married and lives in Fairhope, Alabama; and son, Katlan, who recently graduated from East Central Community College. He will start in the spring of 2008 at Delta State University on a football scholarship.
