Officer Steve Westbrook began working with MSU PD in February 2007. Officer Westbrook comes to the department with over 20 years experience. He has served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman, worked patrol in a car and on a motorcycle for Starkville PD, worked for the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department as a patrol deputy and investigator. He has also worked for the State of Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics in an undercover capacity as well as surveillance agent. Westbrook most previously employed with the state as a probation/parole officer. Officer Westbrook's off-duty hobbies include riding motorcycles and shooting long range rifles.
